Hi — glad you found your way here.

I am a DPhil student at the Department of Biology, University of Oxford, and a member of the SalGo Team. At this stage of my journey, my ambition is to be able to call myself a cross-scale ecologist with full confidence by the time I finish my doctorate.

My research centres on integrating resilience from the individual level to the community level. To do this, I actively work across individual traits, population demography, and ecological interactions — from intraspecific density dependence to interspecific relationships that structure communities.

This site is my small museum: a collection of evidence for my academic evolution. Every entry here marks a step toward the ecologist I am adapting into.

Research focus

01

Cross-Scale Resilience

Bridging individual trait responses, population dynamics, and community-level resilience.

02

Population Demography

Demographic modelling to understand how populations persist and respond to disturbance.

03

Evolutionary History

Exploring how phylogenetic diversity and population trends intersect to inform conservation priorities across the tree of life.
